This is in response to your letter of August 30, 1985 concerning your license application XCOM0862, which is currently under Executive Branch review. The proposed export covers specific replacement spare parts for pump equipment to beusedattheRajasthanAtomicPowerStation(RAPP)inIndia. | |||
With regard to your inquiry about obtaining a broader license which would allow the export of miscellaneous pump equipment spare parts over a 5 to 10-year oeriod to RAPP, the Department of State has informally advised NRC it would be highly unlikel/ thst a broad export license as you described would be aoproved in view of the country of destination. State also indicated that separate license applications should be subnitted to NRC for all orders of nuclear equipment proposed for export to India. | |||
