Materials Irradiation Surveillance specimen Inspection. This change provides a revised specimen capsule withdrawal schedule which incorporates the removal of two additional capsules at fluences corresponding to the inner vessel wall fluence expected after approximately 48 effective full power years. contains Commonwealth Edison Company's demonstration that the proposed amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration. This change has also received on-site and off-site review and approval.

This change provides a revised specimen capsule withdrawal schedule which incorporates the removal of two additional capsules at fluences corresponding to the inner vessel wall fluence expected after approximately 48 effective full power years.
Reference (a) transmitted a copy of WCAP 10902, entitled " Neutron Fluence Evaluation for Zion Units 1 and 2".
Attachment 2 contains Commonwealth Edison Company's demonstration that the proposed amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration. This change has also received on-site and off-site review and approval.
This information was supplied in support of the issuance of Zion License Amendment Nos. 92/82 in reference (b).
