In accordance with the October 14, 1983, Memorandum and Order in the captioned proceeding, the Washington Public Power supply System hereby submits its twenty-third quarterly status report regarding construction activities at WNP-1.

During the second quarter of 1989, no significant safety-related construction activities were performed at WNP-1, although a limited engineering effort was continuing.
