Holtec is planning to ship massive amounts of radioactive waste to New Mexico and Texas, over Class-1 rail routes whose safety is compromised by being underfunded by $450 BILLION. This is not even close to a safe plan. I'm writing as a New Mexico citizen to voice my objections to this. We do not want dangerous radioactive cargos moving through New Mexico along creaky old tracks, and we don't want a huge nuclear dump in or on the border of our beautiful state, which already bears the brunt of heavy oil and nuclear industrial activity. Please do not allow huge radioactive dumps in states where the waste wasn't even created. Thank you for your time.

[External_Sender] Do not allow dumping of nuclear waste in New Mexico or Texas

Dear NRC,
