The RIC offered so many insightful sessions, making it difficult to choose which ones to watch in real time! To mitigate this issue, we video-recorded all sessions. At this time, the remarks from the opening session, Commissioner plenary sessions, Executive Director for Operations session, special guest speaker sessions, and special plenary sessions can be viewed at https://video.nrc.gov/. The technical sessions will follow in the upcoming days, and all video recordings along with transcripts will be made available on the program agenda page of the NRCs public RIC Web site within the next 30 days. | The RIC offered so many insightful sessions, making it difficult to choose which ones to watch in real time! Dear Dr. Osborn:
Thank you for presenting at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) 34th Regulatory Information Conference (RIC), held on March 8-10, 2022.
In keeping with the theme Preparing for Tomorrow, we leveraged the use of virtual conference technology for attendee participation in the 2022 RIC. Initial feedback indicates that we were successful at digitally recreating the conference experience while sustaining our primary goal of providing all attendees with important and relevant information specific to the NRCs safety and security mission. The 2022 virtual RIC had the largest digital footprint of any RIC, with registrations from over 50 countries!
We want to thank you personally for presenting as a speaker during the Security Cornerstone -
Adequate Protection Now and in the Future session. Your expertise on the topic was both interesting and informative and helped to stimulate a thought-provoking dialogue. We especially appreciate your participation as a representative of Sandia National Laboratories which ensured our panel was able to provide perspectives on how advances in technology and integration of safety and security concepts may influence the future of nuclear physical security.
We hope you enjoyed the 2022 virtual RIC and ask you to share your experience and insights so we can continue to enhance future RIC programs. Your feedback is important so we can continuously improve your overall conference experience, so please take a moment to provide your insights at the link above.
