Local Control Station Switch Protuberance On July 24, 1981, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) submitted a final report on a 10 CFR 50.55(e) condition involving local control switches supplied by Gould Rundel (FPL letter L-81-316). Replacement
!        of both SS-4 and SS-6 selector switches with ones whose contacts are maintained when going from one position to the next was indicated as the required corrective action.
However, a re-evaluation of this subject matter revealed that the deficiency exists only in the SS-6 switches, and the SS-4 switches need not be replaced. Hence, the corrective action indicated in the referenced letter shall be applicable only to the SS-6 selector switches.
