Dear Sir / Madam:

The Technical Information Project requests the following records under the Freedom of Informa. ion Act:

ITdM 1: One copy of the most recent license (with amendments) covering Northern States Power's Pathfinder Plant near Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The plant no longer operates, but has a license to possess and/or store nuclear material at the plant.

ITEM 2: One copy of the most recent license (with amendments) covering 3M's (Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing) plant near Brookings, South Dakota.

ITEM 3: One copy of a " site selection report" or similar document that may have been submitted to the NRC by Chem-Nuclear Systems, Inc., or their consultants, concerning selection of a site for low-level radioactive waste disposal in South D'tkota.

ITEM 4: One copy of enclosure 1 referred to in the Waste Management Meeting Report on page 2 of the Memorandum to Leo B. Higginbotham (Exhibit 1).

ITEM 5: All notes, telephone logs, and/or any other records of any and all ERC employees, particularly within the Division of Waste Management, concerning a low-level radioactive waste disposal site (s) in South Dakota. We request only those documents not provided in FOIA-84-550, FOIA-84-786, or FOIA-83-662.

ITEM _6: All notes, telephone logs, and/or other records of '

any and all NRC employees, particularly within the Office of State Programs and the NRC's Regional Office covering South Dakota, concerning low-level radioactive waste disposal and concerning agreement state status. We request only those documents not pro-vided in F01A-84-550, FOIA-84-786, or FOIA-83-662.

ITEM 7: All other records not included in ITEM 1 through ITEM 6, concerning low-level radioactive waste disposal in South Dakota or agreement state status in South Dakota not provided in F0IA-84-550, FOIA-84-786, or FOIA-83-662.
