In Illinois Power Company letter dated April 4, 1985, (Ref: letter D. P. Hall to J. G. Keppler, U-10265), your office was provided an interim report addressing the status of the subject 10CFR50.55(e) investigation.            It was anticipated at that time that a final report would be provided in approximately ninety days (90).
Sargent & Lundy is currently performing a more detailed review of the results and recommended corrective action for the subject fire dampers. It is anticipated ti at approximately thirty (30) additional days will be necessary to complete this review, determine reportability and provide a final report on the issue.
If you have any questions or comments regarding the status of actions taken on this issue, please contact Illinois Power Company.
