We have reviewed the proposed revisions to the Nebraska legislation in the 2017 Radiation Control Act and Legislative Bills 302 and 430, received by our office on February 2, 2021.
This legislation was reviewed by comparison to the Council of State Governments Suggested State Legislation (SSL), 1983, Volume 42, and NMSS Procedure State Agreement (SA) 700, Processing an Agreement.
As a result of our review, we have no comments.
We have enclosed the Nebraska SRS Data Sheet which summarizes our knowledge of the status of other Nebraska regulations, as indicated. Please let us know if you note any inaccuracies or have any comments on the information contained in the SRS Data Sheet.
