received by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, for the export of low-enriched

uranium to Japan for use as reload fuel in Genkai Unit 2, Region 18.

Assurances from Japan are required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation. Your assistance in l obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.
