This is in response to your letter dated November 7,1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), a listing of project abstracts and firms who applied to the NRC for Phase I or Phase 11 funding under the Small Business Innovation Research Program (SBIR) during ,

Fiscal Year 1985.

A search of pertinent files indicates that the NRC is not in possession of the requested list. However, we are placing the SBIR Phase I and Phase II project sumaries, totaling 76 pages, in the NRC's Public Document Room (PDR),

1717 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20555, where they will be available for public inspection at no charge or reproduction at a nominal charge of five cents ($0.05) per page, as specified in 10 CFR 9.14. The documents will be filed in PDR folder F0TA-85-757 under your name. Enclosed is a notice that provides charges and procedures for obtaining records from the PDR.
