The NRC provides funding to the Agreement States for training and the associated travel.
Discussion: Students selected to attend the July 19-23, 2021, virtual offering of the Advanced Health Physics (H-201) Course are provided in Enclosure 1. Please provide this notification to each individual from your program that has been accepted to this course. Detailed guidance for students will be provided at least 2 weeks prior to course start.

INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS ACCEPTANCE: Individuals listed in Enclosure 1 have been accepted for participation in the virtual offering of the Advanced Health Physics (H-201) Course. This course is scheduled to be presented July 19-23, 2021, provided by instructors from Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU).
COURSE: The course begins at 9:00 a.m. eastern time on Monday, July 19th, and ends at 12:00 p.m. eastern time on Friday, July 23rd.
All course materials will be located on a course website in the NRCs Collaborative Learning Environment (CLE). Students will be notified when the course materials are posted in the CLE and given instructions on how to access them at that time.
Course lectures will be delivered using MS Teams. Students will need a computer with a dependable internet connection (and preferably Chrome as your browser). Students will also need a speakerphone, a webcam, or a headset with a mic in order to hear and communicate with the instructors. Prior to the course, students will receive an email with a link to the MS Teams meeting.
Further instructions, including course schedule, will be provided via email to selected students.
Specific questions about the virtual course can be sent directly to the NRCs Course Manager, Jeff Griffis (jeff.griffis@nrc.gov).
