Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 0-416 License No. h File 0260/L-835.0 Update Report - Smoke Detector Alarm LER 82-098/03 X-1 AECM-83/0182 This letter submits an update to a previous report submitted on October 29, 1982. The event for which the report was submitted occurred on September 29, 1982, when smoke detector N515H alarmed with no fire or smoke present and would not reset. The event was reported pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.1.13.b.
Fire detector functional test 06-EL-SP65-0-1001 has been revised to provide periodic cleaning of the detectors and should reduce the number of smoke detector false alarms. Attached is LER 82-098/03 X-1, which is a final report.
