The purpose of this modification is to 1) incorporate a within scope change 2)          l' increase the contract ceiling and total amount obligated by $92.598.75 from
              - $240.351.98 to $332.950.73 and 3) extend the period of performance through
              - April 30.1997. Task Order No. 4 is hereby modified as follows:
1 1.) Task Order No. 4 is modified to incorporate two additional tasks identified in the' attached Statement of Work.
2.) The total cost ceiling is increased by 592.598.75 from 5240.351.98 to
                $332.950.73. The total reimbursable cost is increased by 589.037.26 from 5231.107.67 to $320.144.93 and the total fixed fee is increased by $3.561.49
              .from 59.244.31 to $12.805.80.                                                          !
3.:) Task Order No. 4 shall be in effect from May 2. 1995 through April 30.

Statement of Work for Modification 3 to Task Order #4 The Contractor shall perform the following subtasks:
Subtask 5. Preliminary Insights learned from the 24 IPEEE Submittals To date, 20 IPEEE submittals were under various stages of review by the Contractor, 3 were reviewed by the staff, and I by Sandia National Laboratory. The Contractor shall revisit those IPEEE submittals to extract insights learned from those IPEEE submittals. The insights study shall include: (a) summary of the significant IPEEE findings and whether any generic observations can be derived, (b) lessons learned about the methodologies used, and assessment of the usefulness of the IPEEE analyses for regulatory applications.
The Contractor shall submit to the NRC Project Officer a preliminary report and provide a briefing to the staff in early April 1997. After the staff briefing, the Contractor shall revise, if necessary, and provide a final NUREG/CR report by the end of April 1997.
Subtask 6 - Evaluation of EPRI TR-105928, " Fire PRA Implementation Guide" Some licensees have used EPRI Fire PRA Guide for the fire analysis portions o' f the IPEEEs. The Contractor shall review and critique the EPRI guide and provide a        l briefing to the IPEEE senior review board.
The contractor shall sut>mit to the NRC Project Officer a letter report and provide a briefing to the SRB by the end of February 1997. The Contractor shall revise, if necessary, and provide a final repon within three weeks after the February SRB meeting.}}
