NOTICE (Scheduling Pre-Hearing Conference Call)
The parties are hereby notified that the Board will conduct a conference call on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at 2:00 PM EDT to review and discuss the status of the proceeding. At least one counsel from Pacific Gas & Electric Co. (PG&E), the San Luis Obispo Mothers for Peace, and the NRC Staff shall participate on the call. Potential topics for discussion include, but are not limited to, the status of the Staffs review of the application, the status of PG&Es continuing seismic studies, the September 30, 2011 deadline for initial mandatory disclosures and production of the hearing file related to Contentions EC-4 and TC-1, and the implications of the PG&E seismic studies on the schedule for the evidentiary hearing.
If a party believes that it would be productive to discuss additional topics during the conference call, then the party should submit a brief description of such proposed topic(s) to the Board, in writing, on or before Thursday, September 15, 2011. On or before that same date, counsel for each of the parties should contact the Boards law clerk, Jonathan Eser at
