Dear Mr. Lochbaum Dave:

Thank you for presenting at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) 30th Annual Regulatory Information Conference (RIC), held March 13-15, 2018, at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Rockville, Maryland.

Your remarks during our session entitled, Enhancing the NRC's Engineering Inspection Program were both interesting and informative, and your perspective on the topic helped to stimulate a thought-provoking dialogue during the question and answer portion of the session.

Initial feedback received indicates that the RIC was successful in achieving its primary goal of providing stakeholders with important and relevant information specific to safety and security. It also offered an opportunity for participants to interact with colleagues in the nuclear community by gaining and sharing valuable insights and opinions on nuclear regulatory activities. I look forward to your continued insight on the holistic engineering changes we are planning.

Video recordings captured during the Opening Session, the Commissioner Plenary Sessions, the Transformation at the NRC session and the Regional Session: Current Nuclear Power Plant and Nuclear Issues are available to the public at http://video.nrc.gov/. Additionally, audio recordings, transcripts, and presentations received while onsite are currently being compiled and will be posted on the RIC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/public-involve/conference-symposia/ric/index.html in the next few weeks.

As a friendly reminder, the NRC uses your feedback to continuously make positive improvements to the conference so we welcome your insights. Please take a moment to complete the electronic overall conference and technical session evaluation forms located on the RIC Web site above.

Again, thank you for your participation this year and we hope you will join us next year for the 31st Annual RIC, March 12-14, 2019.

Sincerely,

/RA/
