SUBJECT:        VOID LETTER CONCERNING APPLICATION FOR LICENSE AMENDMENT,
                CONTROL NUMBER 602569
Dear Dr. Harmon:
This concerns the subject application for an amendment to your material license and our letter
dated May 10, 2018 in which we notified you that the application was deficient and that certain
additional information was required. You submitted a response to the request for additional
information on May 17, 2018. We had a telephone conversation on May 22, 2018 to discuss
additional information needed. On May 23, 2018, you sent us an email stating that you would
like to withdraw your original license amendment dated February 22, 2018 and resubmit your
license amendment request in the next one to two months after Dr. Wright has the opportunity
to gather the information necessary to show she is qualified for 10 CFR 35.200 material
authorization going through the alternate pathway as outlined in 10 CFR 35.290(c).
The NRC has concluded that you are no longer pursuing this application for an amendment.
Therefore, you are hereby notified that this application for an amendment has been voided
without prejudice. This action is without prejudice to the resubmission of an application.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter and its
enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document
Room or from the NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC
Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
