Based on this response recommendation 3 remains in resolved status. Recommendations 1, 2, and 4 were closed previously. Please provide an updated status of the resolved recommendation by May 3, 2019. Agency Response Dated November 2, 2018: On March 29, 2018, the staff submitted to the Commission by a notation vote paper SECY-18-NUREG/BR-0058, Regulatory Analysis Guidelines of the U.S. Following Commission review and approval of Revision 5, the staff will issue the final NUREG and publish the document on the NRC document collection Web site. We will issue a publication announcement when the document is finalized. On September 28, 2018, the staff issued Revision 3 of the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards (NMSS) Policy and Procedures 6-NMSS Procedures for it includes a reference to NUREG/BR-0058. This reference results in the incorporation of the approved cost benefit guidance into the office policies and procedures.
