By letter dated July 22, 2019, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) requested renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 9975 for the Model No. 9975 package. DOE did not request any changes to the package design, or operating procedures, acceptance tests and maintenance program of the package. The certificate has been renewed for an additional five year period.
EVALUATION DOE did not request any changes to the package design, operating procedures, acceptance tests and maintenance program of the package. The staff reviewed the package application, in support of the renewal request and determined that the documentation was available and complete.
Condition No. 10 was updated to change the expiration date of the certificate to October 31, 2024.
CONCLUSION Based on the statements and representations in the application, the staff concludes that the Model No. 9975 package design has been adequately described and evaluated and that the certificate has been renewed for a five year term. This does not affect the ability of the package to meet the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 71.

SUMMARY

By letter dated July 22, 2019, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) requested renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 9975 for the Model No. 9975 package.
