On March 12, 2012, the NRC issued Reference 1 to all power reactor licensees.Enclosure 4 of Reference 1 requested that each licensee perform flood protection walkdowns. Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) completed the flood protection walkdowns at Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO) and submitted the results in Reference 2.
Reference 2 contained a commitment to perform inspections where restricted access prevented walkdown of certain flood protection features. Walkdowns of the restricted access features have been completed.Entergy Operations, Inc.

Browning Site Vice President Arkansas Nuclear One 0CAN111302 Page 2 of 3 Subsequent review of the Flooding Walkdown Reports revealed some discrepancies which have been entered into the Corrective Action Program. In addition, Entergy hasverbally committed to providing a response to the NRC following the guidance in Frequently Asked Question 30 to address available physical margin byFebruary 28, 2014. Entergy will provide revised Flooding Walkdown Reports (previously provided in Reference 2) for the ANO units including the restricted access features walkdown results and the resolved discrepancies along with the available physical margin submittal by February 28, 2014.
This letter contains a new regulatory commitment, which is identified in the attachment.
