On June 8, 2012, the NRC issued Regulatory Issue Summary 2012-07, Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations, which requests the voluntary submittal of information regarding future licensing examinations for operators.
In response to that request, Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) is submitting the proposed operator licensing examination schedule for calendar years 2014 through 2017, for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant (BSEP), Unit Nos. 1 and 2. Also included are estimates of applicants planning to take the Generic Fundamentals Examination in calendar years 2014 and 2015.The information is provided on the enclosed NRC Form 536.No regulatory commitments are contained in this letter.
