90-Day Notification Prior to First Storage of Spent Fuel Pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR72.212, "Conditions of general license issued under 5 72.210," paragraph (b)(l)(i), Byron Station is notifying the NRC at least 90 days prior to the first storage of spent fuel at Byron's Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI). The loading of spent fuel into a storage cask will fall under Byron Station Units 1 and 2 general license. Loading activities are scheduled to commence April 23, 2009.
