References:
Dresden Nuclear Power Station 6500 North Dresden Road Morris, IL 60450 1) Letter from Cynthia Pederson (NRC) to Bryan Hanson, "Final Significance Determination of a White Finding with Assessment Follow-Up and Notice of Violation Letter for Dresden Unit 3", dated February 27, 2017. In the referenced letter, Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) was informed that based on the Unit 3 HPCI Auxiliary Oil Pump failure, the NRC determined that Dresden Nuclear Power Station (DNPS) is in the Regulatory Response Column of the Reactor Oversight Process Action Matrix. As a result of the White finding, the NRC plans to conduct a supplemental inspection in accordance with Inspection Procedure 95001. Based on discussions with the NRC staff, EGC requests that the NRC begin the inspection in June 2017. There are no regulatory commitments contained in this submittal.
