in the updated final safety analysis report (UFSAR) as required by 10 CFR 50.71. The design basis of safety related SSCs is established initially during original plant licensing and relates primarily to the accident mitigation functions of safety related SSCs. The design basis of safety related SSCs is a subset of the CLB.
