Schedule for Submittal TSTF-493, Revision 2, "Clarify Application of Setpoint Methodology for LSSS Functions"

==Dear Sir or Madam:==

On December 12, 2006, the TSTF submitted a letter requesting that the NRC extend the acceptance review schedule for TSTF-493, Revision 1, "Clarify Application of Setpoint Methodology for LSSS Functions," until February 16, 2007 to provide time for the TSTF to submit a TSTF-493 revision that addresses the NRC's concerns. In a letter to the TSTF dated December 14, 2006, the NRC granted the request. The letter stated that the NRC would close the TAC for the TSTF-493 review and would open a new TAC number when the revision to TSTF-493 is received.
As we have discussed with the NRC staff, responding to the NRC's issues and incorporating the necessary changes to TSTF-493 has taken more time than anticipated and we will not submit the revision by February 16. The TSTF will submit a revision to TSTF-493 no later than April 9, 2007.
