: the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station (VCSNS) Technical S_pecifications (TS).                                                                                        1 This change is being submitted pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90. The proposed change
                < will follow the guidance located in the Westinghouse Standardized Technical                                                                                         ;
Specifications (STS), NUREG 1431 (MERITS).
The sections affected by this change request are as followa:
                           > 4.1.2.2 (Boration Systems) - added new Surveillance Requirement.                                                                                         l
                          > 3.1.2.3 (Charging Pump - Shutdown) -- Section 3/4.1.2.3 is being deleted.
                           > 3.1.2.4 (Chargmg Pumps - Operating) -- Section 3/4.1.2.4 is being deleted.                                                                               i
                           > 3.4.9.3 (Overpressure Protection Systems) -- Section 3.4.9.3 is being revised to                                                                         :
assure only one charging pump is capable of RCS injection in the applicable modes.
                           > 4.4.9.3 (Over >ressure Protection Systems) -- Section 4.4.9.3 is being revised to add a surveillance to demonstrate this assurance.
                           > 4.5.2.f(ECCS pump periodic testing under Specification 4.0.5) -- Section 4.5.2.f is being revised to delete s peific pump testing acceptance criteria and reference acceptance criteria located in the plant IST Program.
                           > Bases Page B 3/41-3 -- Bases Page B 3/41-3 is being revised to correct an oversight from Amendment 26.
                           > Bases Page B 3/4 4-2 -- Bases Page B 3/4 4-2 is being revised to delete an inaccurate statement.
                           > Bases Page B 3/4 4-14a -- Bases Page B 3/4 4-14a is being revised to provide bases for the new Surveillance 4.4.9.3.3.
