River Bend Station - Unit 1 Refer to:             Region IV Docket No. 50-458 In   accordance with 10CFR50 Appendix E,                                              IV.F, Gulf States Utilities Company (GSU) is scheduling its next River Bend Station annual emergency preparedness exercise on February 25, 1987.
This date has been discussed and concurred upon by the States of Louisiana and Mississippi, as well as the five local governments within the ten-mile Emergency Planning Zone. In addition, this date has previously been discussed informally with both Federal Emergency Management Agency                             (FEMA)         Region VI               and   Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Region IV. Please review this date as it relates to the NRC Region IV schedule of activities and advise GSU as soon as possible should any conflicts exist.
The following is a proposed schedule of submittals concerning the exercise:                      -
