==Dear Sir or Madam:==

In Reference 1, Energy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) withdrew the Palisades Nuclear Plant (PNP) program plan for aging management of reactor vessel internals and revised its commitment to submit a revised program. The revised program would be submitted within a year of the issuance of the final NRC safety evaluation for the Materials Reliability Program report MRP-227, Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) Internals Inspection and Evaluation Guidelines.
In Reference 2, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission stated plants with renewed licenses that have already submitted an inspection plan based on MRP-227, Revision 0, may withdraw their inspection plan and resubmit an inspection plan in accordance with the approved MRP-227-A no later than October 1,2012.
Accordingly, ENO is revising its commitment date in Reference 1. ENO will submit its revised program plan for aging management of reactor vessel internals, for PNP, in accordance with MRP-227-A, no later than October 1,2012.
