UNIT 2 COMMERCIAL OPERATION On March 12, 1986, at 2:03 pm (PST), the Unit 2 reactor was brought critical following a r
n:gstive rate trip during the net load rejection startup test on March 11, 1986. The Unit 2 reactor reached 100% power at 12:45 am (PST) on March 13, 1986, and was declared in commercial operation by the licensee at 3:00 am on March 13, 1986. At the time Unit 2 was d:clared commercial, it was generating 1079 MW NET.
