                           - ERDS Implemernation Plan of NUREG-1394,' Rev.1. Eacn of the activities listed below references tiie corresponding step in L Appendix A,- Emergency Response Data - System -
: Transmission / Reception Plan, of NUREG-1394.                                                                                .
PP&Il' w  ill provide the Data Point Library (step 5, page A-3) for Unit 1 '& Unit 2 by February 15,1992.. We will be ready for preliminary transmission testing (step 8, page A-3) for the Unit                                .
1 ERDS on August 3,1992.' We will be ready for the formal system test (step 9, page A-3) for-Unit 2 on October 5,1992.' Please note, we believe the preliminary transmission testing step E                            will not be required for Unit 2 due to the work previously performed for Unit 1.
In order for PP&L to achieve the August 3,1992 date for preliminary transmission testing we will need the NRC to provide the phone lines (step 4, Page A-2) and modems (step 7, page A-3) -
by July 20,1992. -Since PP&L is planning to use the Multiple Input / Multiple ERDS Send
                           ? System developed by Halliburton NUS Environmental Corp, we will need the NRC to provide
     ,                        the PC ERDS intcrface software by July 6,1992 (ref. item 15, page J-3 of Appendix J).
