We have completed our review of your submittals on natural circulation cooldown. We conclude that you have demonstrated that the Diablo Canyon      j Unit I natural circulation tests are applicable to Beaver Valley Unit 2. The  '
enclosed safety evaluation provides details of our review and closes the subject issue, previously identified as confirmatory issue 22 in the Safety Evaluation Report Supplement 5 (NUREG-1057, Supp. 5).
Furthermore, since all emergency operating procedures required for natural    !
circulation are in place, and no plant changes need be made, we consider the safety upgrades associated with this issue fully implemented.
