By letter dated March 13,'1978 we foraarded to you copies of the Final Er/1ronmental Statement related to determination of the suitability of the Fort Calhoun site for eventual construction of the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No. 2.
As discussed in NUREG-0180, Early Site Reviews for Nuclear Power Facilities (enclosed), the option exists for you to obtain an evaluation of selected site suitability issues and a partial initial decision from the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board.
Therefore, we request that you advise us concerning your desires with respect to further review and evaluation of the ESR for Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No. 2. In order to ensure timely consideration of any additional evaluation that you may request we request that you advise us of your plans no later than May 1, 1978.
