This letter provides the annual 10 CFR 50.46 report for calendar year 2008 for Indian Point Units 2 (IP2) and 3 (IP3). The prior report, for calendar year 2007, was provided in Reference 1.
There are no PCT adjustments required for the IP2 or the IP3 small break LOCA analyses of record (AOR) for 2008. There also is no adjustment for the IP3 large break LOCA AOR.
For the IP2 large break LOCA AOR, Entergy is reporting the elimination of the transition core penalty (26 OF) beginning with cycle 19 which commenced with startup from the Spring 2008 refueling outage.
The limiting PCT results for the IP2 and IP3 small and large break LOCAs continue to meet the criteria of 10 CFR 50.46, paragraph (b) for calendar year 2008.
