Reference 1 submitted the Inservice Inspection Report in accordance with the requirements of Paragraph IWA-6230 of ASME, Section XI, 1989 Edition/No Addenda (3rd interval), Paragraph IWA-6240 of ASME, Section Xl, 2001 Edition/2003 Addenda (4th interval) and 10 CFR Section 50.55a(g) for Refueling Outage (RFO) 20 for the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DAEC)..
A recent review of the RFO 20 Inservice Inspection Report revealed that inaccuracies had entered into the report during its development. The enclosure to this letter contains the appropriate, corrected replacement sections of the RFO 20 Inservice Inspection Report for the DAEC for the 4th 10-year inspection interval. Deletions are shown as being lined out and additions are bolded. These replacement sections supersede the corresponding sections in Enclosure 2 of Reference 1.
This letter contains no new commitments nor revises any previous commitments.

: 9.       Remarks:        IIPCI pump discharge pipe clamp, E-BB-S-SR", EBB-5-SR-9 was found to have a missing bolt (two bolt pipe clamp). The missing A-307 bolting was replaced with a SA-193, B7 stud and SA-194, 21 nuts. The material substitution has been evaluated in EMA A73452. A VT-3 examination (P07069) was completed following bolt installation.

: 9.        Remarks:        On support EBB-5-SR-3 replaced rod assembly with rigid strut assembly. and r-eplaced auniary steel, base p.,l and anchor bolts. Stiffeners were added to in-place steel. Support was upgraded as part of a package to upgrade many supports on Feedwater and HPCI in order to resolve inconsistencies between the as-built and as-designed condition. Structural welds were successfully surface examined, and a successful VT-3 (P07073) was performed on EBB-5-SR-3.

Installed new support, EBB-5-SR-12, on HPCI pump discharge line. New support consisted of a rillid strut, an 8". pipe stanchion welded directly to the extrados of a 12" HPCI pump discharge line elbow, and associated structural steal. Pre-service examinations performed on EBB-5-SR-12 included stanchion-to-pipe welds (MT examination) and a final VT-3 examination. Adjacent springcan hangers EBB-5-H-1 and EBB-5-H-2 were pinned during the installation of EBB-5-SR-12. Pre-service VT-3s were performed on springcan hangers EBB-5-H-1 and EBB-5-H-2 after unpinning.

: 9.         Remarks:         Replaced rod assembly with rigid strut assembly. Replaced base plates and anchor bolts. Weld four shear lugs on pipe above pipe clamp. Support mark number was changed from EBB-5-Il-11 to EBB                             SR-11. This support was upgraded as part of a package to upgrade many supports on Feedwater and HPCI in order to resolve inconsistencies between the as-built and as-designed condition. Structural welds -cre successfully surface examined, Four new integrally attached lugs were subject to a magnetic particle pre-service examination and a successful VT-3 (VT-07-084) was performed on completed support, EBB-5-SR-I 1.

: 9.        Remarks:       The weld crown on ISI Weld CSB-F004 was removed to facilitate Ultrasonic examination. Once the weld crown was removed a Preservice Liquid Penetrant examination was performed to establish a new baseline. A linear indication was identified during that PSI examination. The leneth of the indication was 3/16" long (ref.
Report PT-07-004). CAP 47392 was written. WO A76710 was written to remove the indication. The indication was reduced to an acceptable size (Ref. -- B-342--24 IWB-3113) with a remaining wall thickness of 0.439" (Minimum wall of 0.4378 was allowed). A final PT (ref. Report PT-07-009) was performed with the final length of indication being 0.080" which was calculated as acceptable.

: 9.         Remarks:        Replaced spring can hanger, GLE-7-H-1 7, and installed two new snubbers, GLE-007-SS-001 & GLE-007-SS-002 as part of modification for drywell penetration X039A. Snubber-to-building components were site manufactured from materials listed on page #1 on this NIS-2. The replaced spring can hanger and both new snubbers received VT-3 examinations after installation (P07055, 56, & 57).
