Specific Activity Analyses - 2008 Annual Report PSEG Nuclear LLC (PSEG) submits this report in accordance with the requirements of Salem Units 1 and 2 Technical Specification (TS) 6.9.1.5c. Specifically, TS 6.9.1.5c requires that PSEG reports the results of any specific activity analyses in which the primary coolant exceeded the limits of Specification 3.4.8 for Salem Unit 1 and 3.4.9 for Salem Unit 2.
PSEG reports that for the period from January 1, 2007 to January 1, 2008, there were no instances when the TS primary coolant specific activity limits of Dose Equivalent Iodine < 1.0 microcuries/gram and < 100/E-bar microcuries/gram were exceeded.
