Management Change for Fort Calhoun Station (FCS), Unit No. 1 This purpose of this letter is to announce that management changes have taken place at Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No. 1, owned and operated by the Omaha Public Power District (OPPD).
OPPD's Board of Directors appointed Mr. Shane M. Marik as Site Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer (CNO), replacing Mr. Louis P. Cortopassi. Correspondence for the Site Vice President and CNO should henceforth be addressed to Mr. Marik. In addition, Mr. Todd A. Tierney has replaced Mr. Edwin D. Dean Ill as Plant Manager. Correspondence for the Plant Manager should henceforth be addressed to Mr. Tierney.
In accordance with the provisions of Regulatory Issue Summary 01-018, "Requirements for Oath or Affirmation," Messrs. Marik and Tierney have been granted the authority to represent OPPD on matters before the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and to sign certain FCS-related documents under oath and affirmation.
