By {{letter dated|date=August 29, 2021|text=letter dated August 29, 2021}} (Accession No. ML21242A125), Energy Harbor Nuclear Corp. requested Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approval of a license amendment request. The proposed change would add notes to Technical Specification 3.3.5 required actions C.1 and D.1, and revise Table 3.3.5-1, Loss of Power Diesel Generator Start and Bus Separation Instrumentation. A response to the NRC staffs request for additional information was submitted on April 4, 2022 (Accession No. ML22094A115).
The proposed changes to Technical Specification Table 3.3.5-1 could present a potential configuration control issue during the implementation period. Therefore, the Technical Specification page 3.3.5-3 markups in the August 29, 2021 submittal are hereby replaced with the two attached pages 3.3.5-3 and 3.3.5-3a. The only differences from the proposed Table 3.3.5-1 changes in the August 29, 2021 submittal are:
The current Technical Specification Table 3.3.5-1 would remain. However, the page header is hereby modified to state that this table is effective before the degraded voltage relay reduced time delay modifications are completed.
The modified Tables 3.3.5-1 in the August 29, 2021 submittal are hereby changed to new page 3.3.5-3a, and the page header states that the table is effective after the degraded voltage relay reduced time delay modifications are completed.

Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 L-22-159 Page 2 The proposed note insertions for Technical Specification 3.3.5, conditions C and D are unaffected.
NRC staff approval of the proposed amendments is requested by August 31, 2022, and the amendments shall be implemented within 60 days of approval. As stated in the April 4, 2022 submittal, the plant modifications are in-progress and the timeline for Unit No. 2 to complete implementation is by the fall of 2024 refueling outage. The Unit No. 1 timeline for completion is by the spring of 2027 refueling outage.
The information provided by this submittal does not invalidate the significant hazards consideration analysis provided in the August 29, 2021 submittal.
