==SUMMARY==

The FitzPatrick plant operated at or near rated power for the duration of the month of August 2003 with the exception of the following:
Note: This list does not include minor derates for rod pattern adjustments. (<20% reduction in average power level for the preceding 24 hours)
* August 14, 2003 - 1611             Automatic reactor scram occurred due to equipment response to grid instability. On August 14, 2003 - 1612 Main Turbine Tripped and the Reactor went non-critical on August 14, 2003 - 1613.
* August 17, 2003 - 1334            Mode switch placed in STARTUP/HOT STANDBY to commence reactor start-up. Reactor went critical on August 17, 2003 - 1621. The generator was placed in service on August 18, 2003 - 0610 and the reactor was returned to full power on August 19, 2003 - 0515.
* August 25, 2003 - 0818             Commenced downpower to perform rod pattern adjustment. Lower power to 75.6% on August 25, 2003 - 0845. Power was raised back to 98% on August 25, 2003 - 1712.}}
