This is in response to your letter dated October 11, 1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), that the operator exam results for Duke Power Company's Oconee power plant for the years 1979 through 1982 be placed in the Public Document Room (PDR).
The enclosed appendix identifies documents which are being made available for your inspection and copying at the NRC Public Document Room (PDR),1717 H
 !                            Street, NW, Washington, DC 20555. The documents will be filed in PDR folder F01A-85-692 under your name. Portiens of the records have been deleted in order to withhold the names and identifiers of individuals who took the exams because disclosure of this information would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy. In a telephone conversation between you and Dick Lavios of my staff on October 29, 1985, you excluded this information

A search of pertinent files indicates that the NRC is not in possession of operator exanination results for the year 1979.
