By letter GN-1521 dated December 8,1988, Georgia Power Company (GPC) submitted a proposed schedule for the Unit 2 Reactor Vessel Level Instrumentation System (RVLIS) implementation report, The proposed submittal schedule was prior to commercial operation which was projected for June 15, 1989. Since the issuance of GN-1521, the scheduled commercial operation date has been moved forward. As a result, the RVLIS implementation report will not be ready for submittal prior to commercial operation. The report cannot be completed until Westinghouse has made the final RVLIS adjustments from data that had to be collected at 75% power. GPC will submit the completed RVLIS implementation report as soon as_ possible after the data has been fully analyzed, but no later than June 15, 1989.
