This supercedes, in its entirety, PGandE's April 4,1984 (DCL-84-129) response to IE Bulletin No. 83-08.
PGandE has reviewed IE Bulletin No. 83-08, " Electrical Circuit Breakers With An Undervoltage Trip Feature In Use In Safety-Related Applications Other Than The Reactor Trip System." Diablo Canyon Units 1 and 2 do not use any of the subject circuit breakers, including Westinghouse types DB and DS, and General Electric type AK-2 for safety-related applications other than the reactor trip system. It was determined that there are no similar applications using the undervoltage trip feature.
