Haddam Neck Plant NPDES Permit No. CT0003123 Semiannua! Aountic Toxicity Monitorine Report - Februarv 1998 Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company (CYAPCO) is submitting to you the results of the semiannual aquatic toxicity testing for its Haddam Neck Plant from Discharge Serial No. (DSN) 001. This submittal satisfies the aquatic toxicity testing requirements in CYAPCO's NPDES permit which requires that testing be conducted semiannually, approximately six months apart, and preferably in the months of February and August. Testing with both freshwater species was conducted on February 19, 1998 with Daphnia pulex and Pimephales promelas and had NOAEL concentrations > 100 percent. Therefore, there was no toxicity demonstrated at this discharge. Flows for this discharge are shown on Table 1 (attached).
