Extension for Violation Response Time (Inspection Report No. 99-12)
The subject inspection cited a violation at the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station concerning implementation of 10CFR50.65. The inspection report was dated August 19, 1999 and the
          . violation required a response within 30 days from the date of the letter transmitting the notice.
Vermont Yankee did not receive the notice of violation until August 30,1999. We propose that, to prepare and allow an adequate review our violation response submittal, the 30 days be applied from our date of receipt of the notice. This would result in our response to the cited violation being due on September 29,1999.
