On September 22, 1976, we received an engineering analysis from our engineering department in Raleigh which delineated a potential problem with our Primary Containment 02 /H2 instruments (2-CAC-AT-1259 L 2-CAC-AT-1263) . The analysis pointed out that in the event of a LOCA the dehumidifiers at the instruments may trip out because of excessive heat of approximately 170*F from certain short length sensing lines from the containment structure. A dehumidifier tripout renders the instrument inoperabic.          The short sensing lines have been isolated and tagged out. (3 lines for 2-CAC-AT-1259 & 2 lines for 2-CAC-AT-1263),
