By {{letter dated|date=January 19, 1987|text=letter dated January 19, 1987}}, Boston Edison (BECo) requested a change to Section 4.7.B.2.a of the P1Igrim Nuclear Power Station (PNPS) Technical Specifications. A supplemental letter of January 27, 1987 requested emergency processing of this request to permit fuel movement during our current refueling outage.
He were informed by your letter of January 29, 1987 that the NRC staff review of relevant correspondence between BECo and the NRC from 1975 to 1980 indicated that the "3 inches" was a typographical error. The correct value of "8 inches" was provided to BECo in its place, removing the need for emergency processing of the amendment request.
Therefore, we herein withdraw our request for the emergency processing of the January 19 request.
