to amend Facility Operating License NPF-49 by incorporating an attached proposed revision into the Millstone Unit No. 3 Technical Specifications. During discussions with the NRC Staff, NNECO concurred with the position that Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, CORE OPERATING LIMITS REPORT, needs to be updated. Specifically:                                                                            i e    Millstone Unit No. 3 will incorporate into Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, references to the shutdown margin analytical methods reviewed and approved by the NRC.
                                                       . The proposed Technical Specification change to Section 6.9.1.6 will be submitted to the NRC within 90 days of the NRC's decision on our proposed revision contained in our {{letter dated|date=May 9, 1997|text=letter dated May 9,1997}}.
