l The Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company (CYAPCO) submits herewith                              '
the Inservice Inspection (ISI) and Inservice Testing (IST) Programs for the third ten-year inspection interval at the Haddam Neck Plant. These programs are submitted in accordance with 10CFR50.55a(g), and are set forth in the enclosed volumes " Connecticut Yankee Third Ten-Year Interval Inservice Test Pump and Valve Program Submittal" and " Connecticut Yankee Thira Ten-Year Interval                         ,
Inservice Inspection Plan Summary Submittal." The third ten-year inspection                       '
interval commences January 1,1988.
CYAPCO also describes, in Sections 10.0 and 11.0 of the IST Program, an augmented testing prodram for the Emergency Diesel Generator Auxiliary System Pumps and Valves. CYAPCO committed in Reference I to implement                             i such a program as part of the ISI/IST program update for the third ten-year                       !
interval.
