Gentlemen:
Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 2 Cycle 7 Refueling Proposed Revisions to Technical Specifications In Reference (1) Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) provided the NRC Staff a preliminary description of the expected characteristics of the Cycle 7 reload, proposed Technical Specification revisions associated with the reload, and the basis for the proposed changes to the Technical Specifications.
In Reference (2) NNECO provided the Staff the final Cycle 7 Reload Safety Analysis and the determination that no further Technical Specification revisions would be submitted as a result of the Cycle 7 reload. As a result of discussions with cognizant Staff reviewers, NNECO became aware of the inadvertant omission of changes to Technical Specification Section 3.2.1, pg. 3/4 2-1.
Accordingly, proposed page 3/4 2-1 is attached and is provided as a supplement to the Reference (1) submittal. Additionally, a revision to proposed Technical Specification Section 3.2.2.2 (aX2), pg 3/4 2-6 is also attached to clarify the reference to Figure 3.2-3b.
NNECO has determined that the attached proposed Technical Specification revisions are consistent with the content of the Reference (1) submittal and the reviews and conclusions presented in Reference (1) remain applicable.
