Mississippi Power & Light Company, August 15, 1986 (AECM-86/0255)
Mississippi Power & Light Company submitted an addendum to a proposed amendment to the operating license for Cycle 2 core stability, (Reference 1).
This letter transmits a further addendum to the submittal.
Reference 1 proposed changes to the technical specifications (TS) to support the detect and suppress stability surveillance region for Cycle 2.
As a result of discussions with your staff, a further modification to the detect and suppress region has been made. The attachment provides the l           requested modification as well as supporting discussion and justification.
In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.30, three (3) signed originals and forty (40) copies of the requested amendment are enclosed.
This amendment has been reviewed and accepted by the Plant Safety Review Committee. The technical content and safety concerns associated with this proposed amendment were reviewed and accepted by the Corporate Safety Review Committee at the time of the original submittal (Reference 1).                           ,.
