AECM-82/340 On August 9,1982, Mississippi Power and Light Company submitted the above reference letter, to the Commission, as a Final Part 21 Report for Potentially Reportable Deficiency (PRD)-82/15. The deficiency concerned the failure of a switching relay in the Unit 1 Division I standby Diesel Generator.
The corrective action has since been determined that the Magnecraft W88LCPX-12 relay will be replaced because there are not sufficient contacts to j            perform the circuitry modification of DCP-82/3538. DCP-82 /3538 Rev. 1 l
replaces the Magnecraft relay with a Gould/ITEJ14 latching relay that is fully qualified and has the control circuit modified.
